FIRST COMMUNIONS AND CONFIRMATIONS

SACRAMENTS GROUP "DELAYED FROM SPRING 2020"

This is the group that used the paper registration form in the Fall of 2019. We had celebration dates in the Spring of 2020 but those were delayed due to the pandemic.

UPDATED 2021 SEPTEMBER 01

All of the scheduled First Communion dates for this group have been completed.
If you are in this group but did NOT celebrate First Communion in August 2021, you will be notified about the next set of celebrations (together with the "Registered in Spring 2021" Group).

There are still a few scheduled Confirmation dates for this group. Please read the updates letter of April 11th, 2021 for information about the day of celebration.
Sign-ups for celebration dates closed on Aunday, August 15th, 2021.
If you are in this group but did NOT sign-up for a celebration date, you will be notified about the next set of celebrations (together with the "Registered in Spring 2021" Group).

Children who recently made their First Communion are invited to celebrate the Sacrament of Confession - especially if they did not do so before their First Communion.
Candidates for Confirmation, as well as young people who are newly-Confirmed, are highly encouraged to celebrate the Sacrament of Confession.
Confessions are available at the regular parish confession time on Saturdays between 3pm and 4pm.

Please contact the Parish Office if you have any questions.

SACRAMENTS GROUP "REGISTERED IN SPRING 2021"

This is the group that used the online registration form in the Spring of 2021, or registered shortly after that with the Parish Office by e-mail. As of September 2021, the First Communion children in this group are mostly in Grade 3, and the young people for Confirmation are mostly in Grade 8.

There is no new information at this time. Information will be provided to those who have registered through announcements at Mass.
Please note that we still do not know when the celebrations would take place.
Stay tuned and connected!

UPDATED 2021 SEPTEMBER 01

There is no new information for this group at this time.

The program of preparation currently consists in the regular participation at Mass on Sunday - whether in-person or online.

Additional preparation information will be made available at a later time.

We thank you all for your continued patience.

SACRAMENTS FOR THOSE BEGINNING GRADES 2 AND 7 IN SEPTEMBER 2021

While we recognize that it is traditional and common practice for children to receive First Communion while in Grade 2, and that it is common practice that young people celebrate Confirmation while in Grade 7, we remind all that the celebration of the Sacraments are not tied to any specific school grade level. The indication of Grades 2 & 7 are simply guidelines of when individuals become eligible to prepare for and celebrate the sacraments.

Please be patient and wait for further information regarding registration.

We will be dealing with each of the groups in sequence as we try to clear the delay caused by the on-going pandemic.

Thank you all.
