The Sacramental Cycle for 2025-26 is nearing its completion.
Stay tuned for news about the 2026-27 Cycle!

Children who will be starting Grade 2 in September 2026 will begin to be eligible for preparation and celebration of first Communion.
Young people who will be starting Grade 7 in September 2026 will begin to be eligible for Confirmation.

If you anticipate that your child will be preparing for the Sacraments next cycle, please be prepared to present a copy of their Baptism certificate when you register in the Fall.
You may use the summer months to acquire a copy of their Baptism certificate fom the parish church where they were Baptized.
If your child was Baptized at our parish, this copy is not required.


 

FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATIONS consist of attendance at Sunday Mass, parents' meetings, and at-home activities.
Families with children preparing for first Communion are highly encouraged to take advantage of the Children's Liturgy of the Word at our parish.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CHILDREN WHO RECEIVED THE EUCHARIST FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE CELEBRATIONS ON 14-16 APRIL 2026! 

 

 

 

 

 

CONFIRMATION PREPARATIONS consist of attendance at Sunday Mass, and candidates' meetings.
Young people preparing for Confirmation are highly encouraged to participate in the activities of the Saint Patrick's Youth Ministry

We look forward to the celebration of Confirmation for the students on 28-30 April 2026!

First Communion
In the Archdiocese of Toronto, children in Grade 2 and older are eligible to begin celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation and to the receive Communion. We welcome the children to the Eucharistic Table to receive Our Lord for the first of hopefully many times. The preparation takes place through the Parish, working with the families and our Catholic Schools. The celebrations are held at the Parish where the family worships on Sundays, regardless of the Parish to which the child’s school is attached.

Confirmation
Young people in Grade 7 and older are eligible to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. In this Sacrament, the Baptized are strengthened with a renewed sense of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in their lives. The preparation takes place through the Parish, working with the families and our Catholic Schools. The celebrations are held at the Parish where the family worships on Sundays, regardless of the Parish to which the child’s school is attached.
