The celebration dates (originally published as tentative) have now been finalized.
Make sure you download a copy of the updated schedule, and set reminders so you don't miss anything!

The children preparing for first Communion and the students preparing for Confirmation, along with their families, will be celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) -some for the first time- during the week of Tuesday 23 to Friday 27 March 2026. Families should already have an acknowledged "booking" for the Confession time. If not, please contact the parish office as soon as you can.


FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATIONS consist of attendance at Sunday Mass, parents' meetings, and at-home activities.
Families with children preparing for first Communion are highly encouraged to take advantage of the Children's Liturgy of the Word at our parish.

Families who missed Session 3 and did not receive their Reonciliation workbooks are asked to contact the parish office as soon as possible.

 

 

 

 

 

CONFIRMATION PREPARATIONS consist of attendance at Sunday Mass, and candidates' meetings.
Young people preparing for Confirmation are highly encouraged to participate in the activities of the Saint Patrick's Youth Ministry

First Communion
In the Archdiocese of Toronto, children in Grade 2 and older are eligible to begin celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation and to the receive Communion. We welcome the children to the Eucharistic Table to receive Our Lord for the first of hopefully many times. The preparation takes place through the Parish, working with the families and our Catholic Schools. The celebrations are held at the Parish where the family worships on Sundays, regardless of the Parish to which the child’s school is attached.

Confirmation
Young people in Grade 7 and older are eligible to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. In this Sacrament, the Baptized are strengthened with a renewed sense of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in their lives. The preparation takes place through the Parish, working with the families and our Catholic Schools. The celebrations are held at the Parish where the family worships on Sundays, regardless of the Parish to which the child’s school is attached.
