A VIRTUAL EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM
The American Jewish Committee (AJC), an advocacy group established on November 11, 1906, works to influence policy and opinion on some of the most important issues facing the Jewish people.
AJC is hosting a webinar to explore the impact of a conference held twenty years ago that was sponsored by the United Nations in Durban, South Africa against racism, racial discrimination and related intolerance. Despite its name and stated goals, this forum was to have an antisemitic legacy. Panellists will be recognizing the effort and contribution of the many governments that have made the struggle against antisemitism a priority, refusing to legitimize the Durban process.
